Goals:
To work on multiple self-checkout projects that enhance the overall experience of the product, for shoppers, attendants and managements in the retail space
Process We start by reviewing requirements and estimating project timelines as a team.
Discovery involves auditing existing user flows and artifacts, conducting stakeholder interviews, and performing competitive and comparative analysis.
Define includes developing personas and synthesizing research insights, crafting clear problem statements, mapping user flows, and prioritizing key journeys.
Develop focuses on establishing design direction and “How might we” prompts, leading brainstorming sessions and ideation workshops, iterating on concepts, and aligning on visual and interaction principles.
Design & Deliver references the design system and existing storyboards, runs UX critiques, stakeholder reviews, and usability testing, finalizes and delivers polished designs, requests new design components, submits final storyboards, and hands off assets to engineering.
