Ad Network POC

Goals:

To create a proof of concept for Ad network. A solution that allows ads to be placed across NCR’s customer-facing touchpoints.



  • Discover potential flows for different personas across different touchpoints (Mobile, ATMs, Web, Self check out)

  • Create seamless interactions with ads, promoted products, and offers throughout a shopper’s journey.

  • Create a series of prototypes that show the potential value of the product based on our discovery by utilizing some existing apps and creating new ones.

Team

Our team was composed of product managers, a retail UX lead for oversight, me a UX/UI lead, and a junior designer.
As the UX/UI designer my responsibilities were:

  • Based on the use cases, identify personas and touchpoints

  • Go through competitive analysis and create flows

  • Work with the team to align understanding and approve desired flows for prototypes

  • Create mock-ups in Figma, for the different touchpoints

  • Create video prototypes to incorporate into the final presentation

  • Create illustrations to go along with the prototypes

Created a mock-up ad campaign manager desktop app, to give an idea of what managing the ad would look like with the 3rd party software

 

Worked on a few prototypes that show different flows, such as abandoned cart, email remainders and additional product ads, sponsored products, and related product search
